When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, right? So when life gives you spices, you get a huge piece of salmon, season that bitch just right, and make yourself a delicious home cooked dinner…right? At least that’s what The Babes do!
We got a variety of spices from SpiceBreeze, a monthly spice box service (think Dollar Shave Club but a thousand times better), so we had a lot of different options of what we could make ourselves…yeah, we know, The Babes making a home cooked meal instead of hitting up a happy hour or stopping by their favorite taco shop on their way home from work? Shocking.
Though it may come as a surprise, The Babes more often than not, can be caught cruising home to cook after a long day of hustlin’. And as far as passing up happy hour…well, we obviously aren’t cooking without bottles of wine on deck.
We used the Romanian spice rub on our salmon, along with rosemary, shallots, lemon, and garlic.
We then used the Chimicurri to season our side of sautéed heirloom tomatoes and riced cauliflower.
And then…we poured ourselves another glass (or bottle) of wine, sat down, and stuffed our faces.
